Being our very own head office building for many years, we had an intimate connection with this building. We were first involved in the 2005 addition of 3 floors to this heritage building, being originally built in the early 1900’s. Multiple materials were used in the lightweight addition, including massive timber columns made from Oregon pine and more modern lightweight materials.
The building was turned into a hotel in 2017 under the visionary guidance of the developer and Noero architects, being the same architects as the 2005 metamorphosis. 7 Office floors had to make way for 84 hotel rooms and a restaurant.
